This therapeutic technique is used by the medical community including Physical Therapist, to provide more long term beneficial results of pain syndromes. The approach is completely different from a massage in that the therapist will apply a sustained pressure and technique over a greater area of the body to release an entire fascial plane. The fascia is a connective tissue that encases every single muscle fiber, bone, tendon- it is the great spider web that holds the body in its entirety together. When the fascia becomes injured through trauma, stressors, disease, aging, or other chronic issue it precipitates pain related syndromes. When we treat the fascia through the myofascial approach we release all "kinks" within the system. Once again, everything in the body is connected through and by fascia, myofascial therapy is an effective full body approach.

*30 minute session is a good option if you are new to massage therapy and would like a specific area or concern addressed. It is not an adequate amount of time for a full body massage to take place and/or if there are more than one areas of concern to be addressed.

*60 minute sessions are great options for someone hoping to address one or more focus areas or would like to receive a full body massage.

**Clients say that the extra 15 minutes seems to be the perfect amount of time to smooth things over after approaching any problem areas!

*My personal favorite amount of time to truly approach the full body needs

*Please note this is not a stand alone service, only to be used as an add on to a bodywork/energy session

*Please note, this is for add on to a bodywork service not to be booked as a stand-alone service. Please see 'Energetic Rinse and Reset' under the Energy Healing service tab for the stand alone energetic service offering.

During session your therapist will assess your energetic field and chakras to identify imbalances and blockages. Using powerful energetic techniques, they will clear away stagnant energy, or "energetic sludge," restore balance, and revitalize your life force energy. This session leaves you feeling more aligned. A great offering during times of transition or when in need of some extra energetic and spiritual support.
*Please note this is not a massage or bodywork service, the intention is on energetic healing
-If you would like to receive a massage or bodywork service while simultaneously receiving energy work (YES! we can make that happen) simply book your desired massage or bodywork service first and choose Energy Work as an add on before check out!

After a stressful drive from the Midwest to the east coast and back I ended up with some major stress tension in my shoulders that eventually caused me severe debilitating nerve pain going down my arm to my thumb. There’s a specific name to the nerve that I don’t recall. After visiting Victoria just twice the pain subsided immensely. The third visit was the charm that put me back to normal and pain free. I plan to visit Victoria for preventative muscle and pain maintenance moving forward. She is excellent at what she does with pressure points, stretching, the environment she creates at her space and the whole works. Thank you Victoria! I’m not sure what I would have done without you.

It was my first time getting a massage for myself and it was AMAZING! I've been having some intense shoulder pain and after the massage Victoria even gave me some stretching tips to help with healing my pain long-term! I'm so grateful to have found this place and masseuse!

I had never done massage therapy before. Victoria explained the process nicely and made sure throughout the massage that the pressure she was using was comfortable to me. She helped me through a pinched nerve in my shoulder. It took some time but after every appointment I could notice a difference. I am so thankful for this experience. Now I plan to continue going just to pamper myself with relaxation occasionally.
