Massage therapy uses touch to release the muscles and other soft tissues of the body, whilst connecting with the nervous system to bring about relaxation. Sessions are customizable in terms of techniques applied to provide the client with the most benefit. Discussion regarding clients specific needs they would like therapist to address will take place prior to the session.
*30 minute session is a good option if you are new to massage therapy and would like a specific area or concern addressed. It is not an adequate amount of time for a full body massage to take place and/or if there are more than one areas of concern to be addressed.

Therapist will use Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation techniques, Massage techniques, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga postures and concepts, and basic stretching components. The focus can be used in a more active approach for sports performance, or as a tool for relaxation with energetic principles applied to help you release the ‘energy kinks’ that may be creating an imbalance.

Chair Yoga with Move Freely is quite unique in comparison to many traditional Chair Classes offered in the metroplex. Class is taught to encourage students to challenge their bodies and minds by utilizing the chair as a prop rather than relying solely on the chair. Clients can choose to move at the level in which is most supportive, instruction will always be geared towards inclusivity to all who attend, with opportunities for more modifications to expand upon always offered. Much emphasis on yogic principles, breathwork, meditation, and meeting our physical boundaries with an equal amount of energy and softness will be approached. The Fascia is an intricate and vast connective tissue that is said to store all “the issues” within the body. In this Gentle Yoga and Fascial Unwind Class we will utilize yoga postures/principles, breathwork, meditation, and somatic movement to release the issues within the fascial structures. In class you can expect to explore familiar yogic postures but tap into new ways of deepening and connecting, and releasing holding patterns of physical and emotional stress. Class is open to all experiences, newcomers always welcomed and class is always instructed to be inclusive to all who attend on that given day.
